Rachel J. Leos

Rachel received her Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University in 2004, and later received her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2007. Following graduation, Rachel joined the firm of Julin & McBride, P.S. as an associate attorney.

Rachel has been in and around the legal field all of her life. Her grandfather, Axel C. Julin, started the Seattle law firm of Julin, Fosso & Sage in 1963. Rachel’s mother, M. Kathrine Julin, joined Axel C. Julin at Julin, Fosso & Sage in 1978, where Rachel spent many hours of her childhood. Two of the principals of that firm moved their practice to Redmond in 2000 with the formation of Julin & McBride, P.S. During Rachel’s breaks from college and throughout law school, Rachel worked at Julin & McBride, P.S doing administrative work. As a 4th generation attorney, Rachel takes pride in working as a team with her mother, M. Kathrine Julin.

Rachel’s professional memberships include the Washington Bar Association and the King County Bar Association. She primarily practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, business law and real estate law.

In her spare time, Rachel is an avid Seahawks fan and even worked for the Seahawks during law school. She enjoys skiing, wine tasting and being outdoors. In addition, Rachel enjoys relaxing with her husband and her family.

Raemi L. Gilkerson

Raemi received her Bachelor of Sciences from Oregon State University in 2007. At OSU, she studied Biology and Political Science. Raemi received her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law, cum laude.

She practices in the areas of business law, estate planning, and probate.

In her free time, Raemi enjoys running and has run several marathons, half marathons and relay races. She is an avid college football fan and loves watching Oregon State football. Additionally, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and black lab.

Retired

M. Kathrine Julin

After 43 years, Kate Julin has officially retired. Leos & Gilkerson, PLLC is so grateful for all of her hard work, dedication and mentorship. Rachel Leos and Raemi Gilkerson maintain Kate's client files and relationships at Leos & Gilkerson, PLLC and in the event we have not met with any of Kate's prior clients we are happy to do so.

Kate received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in 1971, Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington in 1973, and later received her Juris Doctor from the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1977, where she graduated with honors. After law school, Kate clerked for the Honorable Charles F. Stafford at the Washington State Supreme Court. She is a third generation attorney, who practiced with her father, Axel C. Julin, and currently practices with her daughter, Rachel Leos as of counsel to the firm.

Her professional memberships include the Washington Bar Association and the King County Bar Association. She primarily practices in the areas of estate planning, estates and trusts, probate business law and real estate law.

Kate enjoys riding her Vespa scooter, TRX classes, reading and playing with her grandchildren.
